The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from software development companies who can demonstrate that they possess the organizational, functional, and technical capabilities to write the code and develop a Permitting Portal System that meets the eCityGov Alliance (Alliance) and multiple City/County jurisdiction’s permitting software needs. Specifically, this procurement is intended to select a vendor who can replicate the services, functionality and content currently available at www.mybuildingpermit.com , with more modern tools, features and user interfaces, including Automated Intelligence (AI) logic. The ideal proposer shall have experience in successfully developing Cloud based enterprise software systems for government agencies and/or companies that are scalable and can be used in many different organizations. The successful proposer shall be responsible for the final approved technical and functional requirements, design, development, and set up of and migration to the Permitting Portal System, including development of the software code, database, user interface, integration tools, configurations, and other parts of the application. The solution should be flexible and scalable to be used by many different Cities and Counties across the nation.
