Skagit County Sheriff’s Department intends to use the van as a tool to assist SWAT team. Upfit by contractor to be of, one (1) Skagit County provided 2024 Ford Transit Cargo Van High Roof Extra Long Length. Upfit shall include, but not be limited to the following: General: Insulation of body walls & ceiling, lining the full interior with painted aluminum wherever possible, floor and up sides to the top of the wheel-wells to be coated with a heavy-duty spray on bedliner, a single cab partition with no-pass-through installed directly behind front seats, and rear HVAC should be ducted where possible through cargo area. Cargo Area: Firetruck style grab handles to be installed at each door. Power: A 110V shore power plug (installed rear of driver door), All power to come through a minimum of 3000W inverter with 2 auxiliary batteries & power outlets (outlets to have built-in USB charge ports), 12V LED interior lighting on ceiling, exterior scene lighting on both driver and passenger side and rear doors. All bidders must include cost of pickup of bare van and delivery of completed van, with weight slip, to Skagit County Public Works, Burlington Washington
