The City of Burlington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide professional services for a periodic update to its Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan. This update will focus on the areas of park impact fees, trails & connectivity, barriers to park use, and gaps in Recreation programming to ensure the plan aligns with the community's current needs and growth projections. A well-crafted PROS Plan informs the City’s Comprehensive Plan and serves as a strategic guide for the management and development of the City’s parks & trails, recreation programs, and open space resources, ensuring they evolve in step with the needs of a growing community. It also plays a pivotal role in preserving the City’s eligibility for select state grant funding opportunities
