The Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County, Washington is Requesting Proposals be submitted for Professional Services for a partnering consultant for two of the Districts Contracts: Priest Rapids Hatchery Renovation from time awarded until January 31, 2015. Wanapum Heritage Center Building Project from time awarded to September 30, 2013. Separate Utility Systems of the District The electric utility properties and operations of the District are comprised of three separate systems, each of which is accounted for and financed separately. The three systems are: 1. The Columbia River-Priest Rapids Hydroelectric Development (the "Priest Rapids Development"), which consists of a dam and hydroelectric generating station having a nameplate rating of 955,600 kW and net peaking capacity of 910,000 kW, located on the Columbia River in Grant and Yakima Counties. The Priest Rapids Development includes certain switching, transmission and other facilities necessary to deliver the electric output to the transmission network of the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). The Priest Rapids Development has been in full commercial operation since September 1961. 2. The Columbia River-Wanapum Hydroelectric Development (the "Wanapum Development"), which consists of a dam and hydroelectric generating plant located on the Columbia River in Grant and Kittitas Counties approximately 18 miles upstream from the Priest Rapids dam, together with associated switching and transmission facilities necessary to deliver electric output to the transmission network. The Wanapum Development has been in full commercial operation since January 1965. The Wanapum Development generating plant has a nameplate rating of 1,038,000 kW and a net peaking capacity of 985,000 kW.
