Determine appropriate field service levels, assignment categories and deployment strategies; 2. Determine an appropriate patrol resource level and a plan for the future; 3. Determine the optimal deployment of existing resources and the resources needed for optimal levels of service; 4. Review best practices in other cities and law enforcement agencies. Scope OF SERVICES: Task 1 – Trends: 1. Conduct an historical review of Community Generated Calls for Service (CGCFS) as compared to population). 2. Review PD staffing (both sworn and professional staff) as compared to population for the same period. 3. Review other service demand indicators (reported crime, arrest rates, PD budget expenditures per capita. 4. Review officer-initiated activity as compared to population.
