Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Valparaiso, through the Valparaiso Economic Development Corporation (VEDC), isseeking the services of a consulting firm, or team, to provide the professional services necessary toassist the Airport Zone Development Committee (AZDC) in implementing planning associatedwith the following project elements, and concerning potential development in proximity to thePorter County Municipal Airport:1. Land Use (Zoning) Assessment and Comprehensive Long-Range Plan review;2. Shovel-Ready Site Assessment Plan that meets State Certification requirements;. 3. Assessment of Intermodal (Airport, Rail, Truck) Opportunities, creation of a SiteDevelopment Plan, and coordination of planning that would relate to other Intermodaldevelopment within the Northern Indiana Region;4. Infrastructure Assessment and Long-Range Extension Plan;5. Transportation and Thoroughfare Plan;6. Annexation Plan (including police and fire protection services) of parcels in proximity tothe Porter County Municipal Airport;7. Identify potential grant opportunities to support the mission of the Committee;
