The Pier 66 Grand Staircase Replacement Project consists of demolishing all existing Precast Stairs, Pavers, Pedestal System, associated Waterproofing, and all existing Handrails. Removing all existing Guardrails and existing coatings to bare metal. Prep, prime, provide powder coatings and reinstall as per contract. Demolishing all existing waterproofing to expose the Concrete Substrate. Provide surface preparation, new waterproofing system, new concrete treads, new pavers, pedestal system and all flashings and penetration detailing necessary for a watertight waterproofing system. Remove existing drain strainer, clamping rings and provide new rings, bolts and metal strainers. Provide new lighted handrail and all other electrical appurtenances as required.
