The selected firm will act as the Owner’s Advisor through all approved phases of the project, beginning with advising on design feasibility, risk analysis, concept refinement, construction phasing, cost estimating, funding strategy development, providing guidance on the selection of an appropriate project delivery method, and providing oversight of final design, permitting, and construction, if appropriate. MPT will award the contract to the firm whose qualifications and experience provide the best value to MPT, or MPT may elect not to award it to any firm. The successful firm’s responsibilities may transition to assume roles and responsibilities associated with being an Owner’s Representative and/or Project Manager, should MPT deem it necessary.
