Specifications include, but are not limited to: Deliverable #1 Work Plan and Schedule Description The Vendor will provide a detailed work plan outlining all activities associated with this engagement from inception to conclusion. Expected work products/activities include, but are not limited to: Study Approach Schedule of tasks and activities Resource requirements Written reports Scheduled presentation of report and findings Deliverable #2 Review of Other State Law Libraries Description The Vendor will gather information and data regarding the operational structures of six state law libraries and, if requested, the law and research library of a Washington State agency, and provide a written report that addresses the operational structure of each. The Vendor will be provided a pool of ten state law libraries from which the Vendor will be asked to select five libraries from the pool the WSLL will then select an additional state law library and may identify a state agency for inclusion, as well. Operational structure review will include, but not be limited to, authorization, funding source(s), annual budget, organization and reporting structure, relation to Judicial Branch, staffing levels, facilities, collection size, disaster recovery, service areas, costs of operation, cost recovery, and other funding mechanisms used to support library services. The Vendor will prepare a written report of this information gathering and use the gathered information in the preparation of Deliverable 4. Deliverable #3 Review of the Research Library of a Washington State Agency Description The Vendor may be asked to gather information regarding the operational structure of one state agency as identified by the WSLL. Information to be gathered may include the level and method of law library service delivery, research services provided, location and maintenance of regional publication collections, and other information as needed.
