Fencing and gate installation services shall include but is not limited to: A. Properly and safely provide the following services: a. Remove and haul away existing fencing and gates and recycle and dispose of such materials in a lawful manner. b. Install and repair new and existing fencing. c. Install and repair fence gates, swing gates, and operators. d. Install fence systems in exterior applications. BID No. 2024-ITB-691 On-Call Fencing Services Page 10 of 16 e. Work with a variety of fencing materials including, but not limited to, chain link fence, welded wire, wood, security fencing, and metal fencing and various coatings and applications as may be specified including powder coated, vinyl coated or privacy slats. f. Obtaining any necessary permits, and work with a variety of local jurisdictions within Pierce County. g. Provide all necessary tools of the trade, materials, labor, and equipment, parts, administration, management, and quality assurance to ensure proper execution of work orders. h. Engage with other trades such as surveying, electrical, and security to complete the scope of the project. i. Prepare of probable cost for planned construction including, project schedules, costs, quantities, and plans for public works projects, including any changes as requested. B. Non-Emergency Installations and Repairs: a. Pierce County department representative will issue a written Work Order request to the Contractor describing the work needed, any operating constraints, and the desired completion date.
