The specific scope of work will vary by WA Number and Title, but may include any of the following tasks: • Project Management/Administration: Coordinate with City Light Environmental, Project Management, and Engineering staff to develop an appropriate level of effort for WAs, which may include desktop reviews, cultural resource inventories/evaluations, and archaeological monitoring. • Historical Research & Review: Carry out archival (historic and/or recent past) research on project and study areas. • Ethnographic Research: Conduct ethnographic research of study areas, in collaboration with affected Tribes or First Nations. • Agency and Tribal Coordination: Provide notifications and coordinate with Tribes or First Nations, the governments of affected Tribes or First Nations, and/or state and federal agencies regarding cultural resource issues. • Unanticipated Discovery Response: Respond to and evaluate unanticipated/inadvertent discoveries of possible cultural resources found during City Light activities and assist in determining appropriate measures through consultation with the Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) and Tribes or First Nations. • Archaeological Surveys: Design and perform archaeological surveys for pre-contact and historic-period archaeological sites for specific City Light activities...
