Specifications include, but are not limited to: Washington State University is seeking consulting services to support the Vice President for Research. The contractor will work across the WSU campus, and elsewhere, at the direction and in partnership with Vice President for Research and the Director of the Office of Grants and Research Development. The WSU Vice President for Research will continue to act as primary contact with internal and external constituents; however, the firm or individual may be asked to be point person and presence for WSU in specific areas. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Provide advice and input regarding implementation of the University’s 120-Day Study recommendations. The 120-Day Study, co-chaired by the University’s Provost and Vice President for Research, was a follow-on to the WSU Strategic Plan, which tasked the Vice President for Research with identifying areas of research excellence and emerging areas requiring additional investment to achieve national and international prominence.
