The Washington Department of Commerce, hereafter called "COMMERCE,” is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit Proposals from those qualified and interested in participating in a project to provide a study or studies to assess strategies necessary for the state of Washington to engage in the offshore wind supply chain as well as to contract with a non-regulatory coalition to identify economic, community, and workforce development opportunities resulting from Washington State’s participation in the offshore wind supply chain. The Department of Commerce is seeking proposals to contract with a non-regulatory coalition to identify economic, community, and workforce development opportunities resulting from Washington State’s participation in the offshore wind supply chain through conducting convening’s, workshops, and studies as appropriate.
