Bidders shall meet the following requirements in order for Bidders' proposals to be considered for evaluation. The Bidder shall provide services and staff, and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of work, as set forth below and as described in the tables for each location. Each area shall receive the specific service tasks set forth for each location. A. Mandatory Requirements Confirm ability by stating Yes or No that the following requirements can be met for Bidders' proposals to be considered for evaluation. Provide detail to support Yes or No response. 1. Shall have a mature business model and financial stability; 2. Shall have a solid organizational structure in terms of span of control, management tools, performance review, leverage of coding and audit knowledge, and leverage of healthcare industry knowledge; 3. Shall have a high talent and retention levels including recruiting and training (development of subject matter experts and managers), dedication and consistency of team; 4. Shall have state of the art technology and leading practice operational processes including importing/extracting data, allocating work, inspecting work, streamlined workflow, document management, balancing and reconciliation, and reporting; 5. Shall have a culture compatible with UW Medicine focused on customer service, operational excellence, economic models, sense of urgency, capacity, pace of change, and management style; 6. Shall be licensed and bonded to do business in the State of Washington or provide a commitment that it will become licensed in Washington within thirty (30) calendar days of being selected as the Apparent Successful Bidder; 7. Certify that Contractor’s operations are covered by Washington State Workers Compensation Fund, including account numbers. If self-insured, Contractor shall provide proof of insurance including a certificate of insurance qualification number; 8. Agree that UW Medicine reserves the right to delete, change or add any job Specialty Categories, and to request rates from Contractor at any time during the Contract Period; 9. Agree that UW Medicine may also add, delete or change job locations as deemed necessary; and 10. Bidder must be established as a company within the United State with offshore coders that are United States employees.
