Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New Southwest Elementary School is a complete, new school on a wooded, unimproved site in the South Hill area of Puyallup, Washington. The front building wing containing the gym, commons,library and administrative offices will be a 2-story metal framed structure and the rear 2-story classroom wing will bewood-framed. The building's exterior clad ding will be cement fiberboard panels and single-ply roofing system on the roof.The school will house 44 classrooms,including Music Rooms, Gymnasium/Commons/Lunch Room, Library and Administration to serve approximately 1030 students. Site improvements include field and hard surface play areas,covered play, parking, parent drop-off/pick-up lane, separate bus drop off and staff parking.
