Consultant Scope Consultant shall provide preliminary and final engineering design services and other work including: - Project management - Data collection and survey/mapping - City utility coordination - Environmental/permitting/SEPA - Geotechnical investigation with recommendations for wall design - Traffic signal design - Detailed curb ramp analysis and design - Technical details - Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (30%, 60%, 90% and Bid Ready) - Support during bid advertisement period The following is a preliminary scope of work. Each of the tasks within the scope of services should include the following four components: • Work tasks • Deliverables • Assumptions • Meetings Task 1 – Project Administration • Prepare monthly progress reports and invoices • Provide initial project schedule and monthly updates on milestones • Attend project meetings • Manage sub-consultants • Quality Assurance/Quality Control of all deliverables • Coordinate plan revision and response to City comments on all deliverables • Regular communication with City project manager on progress, problems, and issues Task 2 – Scoping and Initial Concept • Identify significant issues and major scope items • Determine specific deliverables from consultant and subconsultants • Attend kick-off meeting with key City staff to initiate project design • Research existing conditions and compile available documentation...
