2.2 PURPOSE This RFP is issued for the purpose of soliciting qualified Consultants to perform comprehensive brokerage and consulting services. The selected Consultant shall be responsible for performing all tasks and responsibilities outlined in 2.3 and 2.4 of this RFP. 2.3 CONSULTANT SERVICES A. Plan Design and Strategic Planning 1. Evaluate current benefits plans and recommend design changes to improve value. 2. Assist in long-term strategic planning for the benefits program 3. Provide benchmarking data and analysis B. Vendor Management 1. Conduct competitive market analysis and RFP processes for benefit vendors. 2. Negotiate contracts and renewals with vendors. 3. Monitor vendor performance and compliance. C. Compliance and Legal Support 1. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including ACA, HIPPA and ERISA. 2. Provide updates on legislative changes and their impact on the benefits program.
