The City is initiating this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced applicants able to achieve the projects goals. The programs project goals and desired outcomes are: • To develop an ongoing apprenticeship program that prepares, trains, and certifies interested individuals to enter the meat cutting industry. • To support the Spokane economy by developing a workforce to support Spokane business workforce needs. • To provide tuition assistance to qualified applicants in need of financial support. The contracted party will be required to submit reports as well as present, when requested by the City, program updates. The City will be eligible to audit contracted party as deemed appropriate by the City.
