Specifications include, but are not limited to: Have developed compelling unique selling and value propositions for communities, organizations or businesses or have performed comparable work, Have displayed in-depth knowledge of the Tacoma community, Have produced attractive digital marketing materials that have clearly communicated unique selling and value propositions or have performed comparable work, and Have used Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) principles in marketing materials. It is the City’s intent to select a consultant based on qualifications and abilities of the firm and key project individuals. The City seeks a consultant team to provide content recommendations, graphic design services and digital marketing materials viewable by computer or by mobile phone. City staff can update and print based on the City’s existing MakeItTacoma brand (https://makeittacoma.com) as well as its brand guidelines. Deliverables will include: One page flier “Why Tacoma” is an advantageous place to live, work and explore in a persuasive written and a 30-second sound bite form; One/two page brochure “Why Tacoma” is a strategic location for Green Economy business opportunities; Individual one-page Tacoma industry sector advantages summaries (e.g. maritime and trade, healthcare, finance, technology, creative economy, construction and development, manufacturing and logistics, military/government); Updated MakeItTacoma brochure; Templates including a MakeItTacoma branded PowerPoint, business retention/recruitment proposal, Business District information sheet, and a general MakeItTacoma print or online advertisement/postcard; and Option for as needed services on an hourly basis.
