The Work includes removal of existing attendant booths, construction of a new attendant booth, and the expansion and modification of existing Parking Management Systems. The Work shall be completed in three phases to limit the impacts to the Exit Plaza and to ensure that a minimum of six exit lanes remain in operation at all times. The phased work shall be as follows: Phase 1 work shall be limited to lanes one and two and shall include but is not limited to; removal of two attendant booths, concrete saw cutting and removal, trench excavation and backfill, conduit and junction box installation, electrical equipment installation, communication equipment installation, parking management system equipment installation, and temporary traffic control. Phase 2 work shall only be permitted upon the completion of Phase 1 and the successful commissioning of Parking Management Systems installed therein. Phase 2 work shall be limited to lane eight and shall include but is not limited to; installation of a new attendant booth, concrete saw cutting and removal, trench excavation and backfill, conduit and junction box installation, electrical equipment installation, communication equipment installation, parking management system equipment installation, and temporary traffic control. Phase 3 work shall only be permitted upon the completion of Phase 2 and the successful commissioning of Parking Management Systems installed therein. Phase 3 work shall include but is not limited to: the sequential transition of Parking Management system communications from the existing network equipment to the new equipment installed by the Project.
