The project consists of the demolition and removal of the existing generator, fuel tank, fuel lines, full removal of the existing wet well along with the existing pumps, associated piping, electrical, and appurtenances, followed by the installation of 8’ diameter concrete wet well with pumps, piping and fittings, and the installation of a concrete meter vault with an internal bypass connection. Also included is the installation of an owner-furnished generator with concrete pad, improvements to the existing electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, and site grading and pavement. The District wishes to start the project immediately after the award and to have all work completed within the time specified in these contract documents.
