A. Close collaboration with the City of Tumwater leadership and staff, AWC and City coalition partners to develop and implement legislative strategies for upcoming State Legislative sessions. B. Verbal, written and in person consultation with City leadership, stakeholders and the Thurston County delegation on political and policy matters impacting the City budget and policy priorities. C. In depth development and drafting of budget provisos, amendments, and any needed policy legislation on the City's stated policy agenda, as requested by the City. D. Advocacy for the City's policy positions with State elected and appointed officials to develop support for the City's objectives, during and outside of the State legislative session. E. Maintenance of a strong presence for the City of Tumwater at the Capitol and in legislative districts during and outside the legislative session. Consistent monitoring of political and policy agenda issues, intelligence-gathering, and on-call availability.
