Specifications include, but are not limited to: Laptop Audit System (LAS3) Project. The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide consulting, analytical and programming services to complete the design and implementation of a new Laptop Audit System (LAS3) to replace IDES' current laptop audit system. Due to the need to continue to perform required field audits of selected Illinois employers and to remain in compliance with federal and state standards and requirements, the IDES needs to upgrade its current system. All the basic software utilized in the operation of LASii is slated for retirement in the near future as IDES upgrades its general office software, hardware, database and email systems. The upgrade from LASii to LAS3 must incorporate new business functionality, make functional improvements, and must take advantage of new hardware and software technology. The detailed project specifications are set forth further on in the "Specifications/Qualifications/Statement of Work" section of the RFP.
