Specifications include, but are not limited to: Hardscape Cleaning WSU grounds will be responsible for the pruning or removal of trees as needed. Contractor: Clean sidewalks - Weekly/Seasonally -Use blower or sweep; grass, leaves and crabapples Irrigation System - WSU Grounds will start up the irrigation system in the spring and winterize the system in the fall. WSU Grounds will provide training and assist with major maintenance and repairs. Contractor will be responsible for routine maintenance of the system during the season and will be responsible for damages caused by their staff and equipment. Set timers - Seasonally Replacement of broken heads - as needed Repairs as needed - Weekly/Seasonally Check irrigation system for adequate watering/overwatering - Weekly/Seasonally Lawn Care- (approx. 100,000SqFt) Mowing – Weekly/Seasonally String Trimming – Weekly/Seasonally Fertilization - Spring and Fall application Weed control – spray for broadleaf weeds twice annually Blow/Rake & Mulch Leaves: Weekly/Seasonally- Leaves may be brought to the WSU Compost Facility Planters – (approx.6700 SqFt) (With the exception of landscape around Bldg 1, Section H, the tenant is tending and doing research/teaching.) Weed Control: Weekly/Seasonally - hand spray and hand weed Litter: Weekly- remove litter from beds and dispose of properly Blow/Rake & Mulch Leaves and fallen branches: Weekly/Seasonally- Leaves may be brought to the WSU Compost Facility Prune Shrubbery and proposer disposal of the pruning materials: Weekly/Seasonally Notify WSU Grounds of Dead Branches or trees that may be Safety Hazard: - as needed Ground Cover Beds -(approx.4500 SqFt) (With the exception of landscape around Bldg 1, Section H, the tenant is tending and doing research/teaching.) Weed Control: Weekly/Seasonally - hand spray and hand weed Litter: Weekly- remove litter from beds and dispose of properly Blow/Rake & Mulch Leaves: Weekly/Seasonally- Leaves may be brought to the WSU Compost Facility
