KPUD will enter into an agreement for professional land surveying services with the consulting firm that can best demonstrate experience and ability to perform services that include but are not limited to: • Performing field surveys of boundary lines, topography, existing facilities/structures/surfaces, trees, and visible and painted underground utilities; • Preparing of legal descriptions, records of survey, and right-of-way maps; • Compiling and reviewing available information related to the project, including plats, maps, GIS information, utility plans, easement documents, deeds, and design drawings; • Performing site reconnaissance; • Establishing benchmarks; horizontal and vertical control; • Establishing bearings of the centerline of right-of-way and construction baselines, including curve data; • Creating topographical survey maps showing at least 2-contours; • Locating property lines and right-of-way locations; • Staking and marking for construction; installing PK nails in pavement along centerlines of rightof- way or along construction baselines at 50-foot stations and obtaining elevations of each; • Conducting survey duties in preparation for potholing or construction; • Preparing easement documents, legal descriptions, and records of survey; • Setting monuments; and • Other associated professional services that may be requested • Reference anticipated scope of survey in Exhibit A and map included in Exhibit B
