The Project includes tenant improvement in two separate building located in downtown Tacoma. The County-City Building (Justice Center) is located at 930 Tacoma, Ave, Tacoma, WA 98402 and has elements of construction on all floors (Basement through 11th) with the major tenant improvement on the 1st Floor A/B wing, entire 7th floor and half the 9th floor. The other location is the 1501 Market Street building with the major tenant improvements occurring on the 1st floor, and smaller improvements on the remaining four floors and two parking levels. Work at this site also includes some civil work in the parking lot located at 1502 Market Street. The construction of these two locations are phased together and work also includes the relocation of tenants and furniture between floors and sites. The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following elements: 1. Civil work to include regrading of accessible parking spaces at parking lot and replacing portion of sidewalk at 1501 Market. 2. Architectural work to include Tenant Improvements throughout the CCB and 1501 Market. a. Work includes physical moving services to relocate several departments within buildings or between buildings, as part of phased construction. b. Architectural work to construct 5 new courtrooms and associated judicial office and jury rooms (CCB) c. Architectural and electrical for new courtroom door security modifications to existing courtrooms throughout, as noted (CCB) d. Architectural work includes the construction of a new County Council Chamber (1501 Market) e. Modifications and creation of new office space, restrooms, public service counters (both locations) 3. Structural work to include X-Ray or ground penetrating radar to verify post tensioned slab tendon locations (1501 Market).
