This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only in support of the Veterans Affairs (VA) s Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VA SORCC) located in White City, OR. This sources sought is for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses who are interested and capable of meeting the requirements for the project summarized below. Responses may be used to determine acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition but will not be the sole market research method used. A capability statement of no more than two (2) pages succinctly describing how your company is capable of completing this specific project s requirements. Generalized statements that do not show specific capability to meet requirements will not be used to determine a set-aside. List any concerns your company has with providing domestic end-products/made in USA items to meet requirements to comply with Buy American and/or Trade Agreement Act requirements or awareness of any challenges to meeting these requirements. Project Summary: The consultant shall supply all labor, material and equipment to: Remove Burner from Burner Mounting Ring, Remove Burner Blast Tube from Burner, Remove Windbox Cover from right hand side of Blast Tube, Replace any Broken Stripped or damaged studs, Replace Windbox cover with new Fender and Lock Washers and install Brass Nuts, Remove Burner Mounting Ring from Boiler, Replace broken and stripped studs on the mounting ring of the Morrison Tube for #2 Boiler. Re-install Burner Mounting Ring with new finder washers and lock washers and install new brass nuts. Repair refractory damaged in Burner Mounting ring removal. Re-install Burner Mounting Ring with new Gaskets, replace Refractory seal for Burner Mounting ring. Re-install Burner Blast Tube with new gaskets, reattach burner and re-install all piping and electrical connections removed during disassembly. Ensure Burner fires on both Natural Gas and #2 Fuel Oil. Provide any refractory curing requirements. Additional Studs to be Replaced on #3 Boiler windbox access cover while onsite. Work to be performed at the Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics White City Oregon VAMC Boiler Plant. The work shall be documented in a full report of findings and recommendations. All Welding must be performed by or Supervised by a Licensed Boiler Maker. All Electrical work to be performed by a Licensed Electrician. Copies of licensing and factory training will be required prior to starting work.
