Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance may include: Visual inspection, cleaning, and lubricating, as appropriate for applicable class of switchgear. Mechanical servicing and tests include but are not limited to: Check electrical connections for proper torque. Operate each circuit breaker. Operate and check alignment of mechanical safety interlock. Operate and verify shutter assemblies, aux switches, key interlocks etc. Verify all cell status indicators. Charge closing spring and close manually. Verify proper operation of space heaters. Visual inspection and cleaning of protective relaying. Report as-found settings. Mechanical servicing of relays to include checking of trip and close coil monitoring functions. Electrical testing is done per NFPA 70B and in conjunction with relay and inspection and testing. Other electrical testing related services may be requested.
