The purpose of this contract is to administer the Washington Education Association (WEA) IPTN Cadre, serving as integral member to our statewide Inclusionary Practices Technical Assistance Network (IPTN) focused on improving outcomes and reducing exclusionary practices across Washington. WEA is the recognized state teachers’ union, with members representing over 92,000 educators across Washington. This is approximately 97% of Washington educators, which allows WEA to maintains relationships that extend beyond the reach of OSPI or other agencies. Due to this, WEA is recognized as the only statewide entity with direct communication networks, established trust, and the ability to convene teachers across every district.
