Perform rehabilitation and repair of Box Canyon Dam Spillway Bays 1 and 2. The work will be performed under the direction of the District’s Project Manager or other designated District personnel. The work will be done under a written contract in a form acceptable to District. The District shall be the exclusive judge of all bids and reserves the right to accept or reject any bid proposal based upon its own criteria and sole judgment. Scope of Work The selected contractor will be responsible for the rehabilitation of the spillway apron slab downstream of the service gate at Bays 1 and 2 of Box Canyon Dam. Portions of the Work involve dewatering of the Work area, demolition and disposal of the existing apron slab and reinforcement, preparation of the demolished surface, and installation of a reinforced concrete repair patch to restore the As-built dimensions of the spillway crest. Portions of the dewatering Work involve the installation of equipment including a bulkhead to be furnished by the District.
