Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified firms to provide snow plowing and removal services just east of the summit at Snoqualmie, on I-90, exit # 54 at Hyak and Gold Creek Sno-Parks. The successful respondent shall be required to provide snow plowing and removal services at the following locations: Hyak Sno-Park: directions, I-90 Exit 54. Turn south at off-ramp (from Seattle, make a right turn off the freeway. From Cle Elum, make a left turn) to the intersection. Turn left, go about 1/8 mile and turn right. Sno-park is on first right. Plow entry road beyond the WSDOT maintenance facility into the non-motorized Sno-Park. Plow and remove snow for public parking for approximately 100 vehicles. See aerial photos for site information. A snow blower may be required late in the season to keep access road and parking accessible. Gold Creek Sno-Park: Directions, I-90 Exit 54. Plow 1 mile of frontage road for two sno-parks for non-motorized and motorized users. Due to guard rail a snow blower will be required equipment for this location. Care will be required to not damage critical wildlife fencing along the highway. Plow and remove snow for roadside parking, and a turn-around area. Road may narrow down as season progresses, despite snow blowing efforts, due to area topography.
