Contractor shall lead and collaborate with OSPI to expand Holocaust and genocide education efforts in Washington state. Contractor’s content coverage shall include the Holocaust and at least two (2) additional historical genocides and will also incorporate the previously established best practices and guidelines for teaching about the Holocaust. Contractor shall provide Washington educators with professional development, instructional materials, and resources that support implementation of research-based pedagogy and focused lessons on Holocaust and genocide education. The Contractor shall clearly define the proposed delivery model, including: • Total number of training sessions to be delivered. • Estimated number of educators reached by grade level (middle school, junior high school, high school) • Delivery method (in-person, virtual, synchronous/asynchronous, or hybrid) • Geographic coverage (e.g., statewide, regional focus, underserved districts)
