The successful proponent will be required to perform the following work or provide the following services for five winter seasons (typically from December 1 through March 31), beginning December 1, 2020, and ending April 30, 2025. The successful respondent shall be required to provide snow plowing and removal services at the following locations: Skamania County Sno-Parks: Cougar Sno-Park: directions, East of Cougar via Lewis River Road on USFS Road #83, 6 miles. Plow entry roads and 30 spaces in parking lot. Estimated total access mileage plowed in an “average” winter is 6 miles. Marble Mountain Sno-Park: directions, East of Cougar via Lewis River Road on USFS Road #83. Plow entry and 230 spaces in parking lot. Estimated total access mileage plowed in an “average” winter is 3 miles. USFS 90 Road Northwoods Fire Station to Curley Creek Road: directions, east of the town of Northwoods WA on the east end of the Swift Reservoir, on the USFS 90 Road. Estimated total access mileage in an “average” winter is 3.5 miles. . The snow plowing and removal equipment proposed to be utilized by the contractor must be capable of performing/meeting the requirements set forth herein. Therefore, proponents must be familiar with the sno-parks and access roads in this contract area to ensure that the equipment offered is capable of performing the required services. The Agency reserves the right to require proponents to explain/demonstrate operator’s capability and equipment capabilities to the Agency’s satisfaction prior to award of a contract. Newer equipment will be preferred over older equipment, and proponents must also provide details on any equipment that will be provided as backup to ensure that service are not disrupted as a result of a mechanical breakdown.
