The overall scope of work includes demolishing asphalt patch and installing new concrete sidewalk panel with wet set bronze castings in front of Eddon Boat Park located at 4121 Harborview Drive in Gig Harbor, Washington. • Unless otherwise noted in the Special Provisions, all work shall be conducted in accordance with Divisions 2-9 of the 2025 WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and sections of Division 1 as identified on the bid proposal. Removal of Asphalt Patch: • Demolish and dispose of existing 9.5ft x 8.5ft asphalt sidewalk panel located approximately 26 feet along sidewalk from back of curb of Eddon Boat Park driveway Place concrete sidewalk panel and set bronze castings: • Install sidewalk panel per City of Gig Harbor Public Works Standards detail 2-18 ‘Sidewalk’. Concrete shall be Type IV, reaching a compressive strength of 4000 psi in 28 days. • Concrete air entrainment = 4.5-7.5% • Place expansion joints against existing concrete sidewalk panels.
