The following contract language will be part of the selected trade partner’s contract with BOUTEN. The subcontractor and Bouten will coordinate the final scope of work inclusions and exclusions at time of executing the final GMP subcontract. CLARIFICATIONS: 1. The preconstruction phase will include assisting the design development and validation of the overall layout of space and program adjacencies. During this phase, BOUTEN and SUBCONTRACTOR will provide input to the design team and Spokane Colleges here in referenced to as OWNER to define and confirm the building’s site (for new entrance) and interior space (for new interior renovation) configuration, which will lead to development of the project’s required site and infrastructure improvements in support of the building. The SUBCONTRACTOR(S) is expected to integrate with the Project Team and work towards development of the following objectives: a. Provide alternatives, allowing the OWNER, BOUTEN, and design team to analyze and research systems and approaches to various scopes of work. b. Participate in pull-planning with the Project Team to develop a preconstruction schedule. c. Proactively coordinate and interface with the OWNER, design team and BOUTEN to develop MECHANICAL and PLUMBING systems. d. Complete other related tasks as requested by the OWNER, BOUTEN, and the Project Team. e. Provide services as listed in the “Solicited Preconstruction Services and Description” of the RFP.
