Scope of Work Description The Consultant shall provide qualified inspection services and tools for the SMS Assurance Ground Operations Audit Program at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to allow periodic on-site inspections of GSE equipment conditions including entering the inspection and red tags in SEA’s records system (Veoci). Tasks and Deliverables 1. Ground Service Equipment Inspections 1.1. Conduct inspections five (5 times a year of randomly and assigned GSE equipment for a host of airlines and vendors that operate at SEA. 1.2. The GSE checklist of equipment to be inspected will be developed between the inspector and Port staff prior to the site visit to determine which airlines and vendors will be included. 1.3. Inspector will provide necessary measuring and inspection tools to accurately inspect equipment. In situations where inspected equipment is determined to be unsafe for operator use, that equipment will be “red-tagged” by the inspector. Deliverables A. Completed inspection forms for each equipment inspected in our SMS software. Due: End of day of inspection. B. Red Tags for equipment that requires it in SMS software. Due: End of day of inspection. C. Documentation/Reason supporting non-conformity finding if challenged by company inspected or requested by Safety Assurance Manager. Due: By end of audit week when required. 2. Program Recommendations and Review 2.1. Review and offer input on Equipment inspection and Ground Operation Audit program direction and focus. 2.2. Evaluate general condition of GSE program compliance and provide recommendations for improvement. Deliverables A. Program recommendations, identify system gaps, direction, focus and assist staff in implementation of recommended changes and corrective actions to improve compliance. Due: Annually.
