Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide high-quality, creative and strategic concepts and graphic designs that interpret, maintain, extend and enhance the Port of Seattle (POS) brand. Projects include communications materials for local, regional, national and international audiences that support strategic initiatives and business unit objectives. Consultant will be expected to attend planning meetings and develop creative briefs for review and approval, as well as produce specific marketing and communication materials. Communications, Marketing and Promotional Materials Produce collateral and related materials to support overall communication and outreach efforts with a variety of audiences including: neighboring communities, employees, customers, partners, other agencies and the public. Designs must integrate existing POS brand and communicate a consistent style and messaging. These could include marketing and communications to support business unit objectives/strategy; marketing materials for airport parking and cruise campaigns; branding or rebranding of Port facilities/products/services; national, international and air cargo advertising and marketing materials; informational and promotional printed materials; community engagement collateral materials to support outreach initiatives; and exhibits that are graphically consistent with POS brand. Consultant may be expected to manage projects from initial design concept, to submitting electronic files for placement and/or printing; and manage print production, including proofs and color checks. All products must integrate appropriate branding for the piece. Materials may include, but are not limited to: •Newsletters, Brochures, Fact Sheets, Reports, Folios & Other: Develop templates; design and manage print and electronic newsletters, brochures, folios, fact sheets, reports and fliers for single or multiple uses; create designs for other items such as wallet cards, branded CD/DVD or USB drives for disseminating facts and statistics • Fliers/Public Notices: Design print or electronic promotions or banners for public or industry information about events, policies or programs; public notices for special events or business meetings, conferences, public hearings, public education sessions or tours, openings or closures of Port facilities • Advertising: Design and produce print and electronic ads for various uses • Event Promotions: Design print ads, online banner ads, electronic notices/invitations, printed fliers, posters; event-specific logos or icons; and art for imprinted marketing specialties. • Invitations & Related Items: Printed or electronic “save the date” notices and event invitations; maps and directions; holiday greeting cards (could include animation) and designs associated with gift items. • Posters, Signage & Banners: Branded promotional or public information posters; posters/signage for events; large-scale banner design for display at Port facilities including light-pole banners; wall or elevator graphic wraps; backlit signage or advertising; directional signage; and other signage for similar purposes
