Specifications include, but are not limited to: Metro Parks Tacoma desires to contract with one or more concessionaire(s) capable of successfully offering a diverse, healthy, and fresh food menu that has reasonably priced options and dependability when the facilities are open. Offerings should include but not limited to “quick to eat” or “grab-n-go” options for the community. The concessionaires are responsible for furnishing all staffing and equipment necessary to provide food or other type concessions, they will have catering opportunities for public events held at the Centers. CONCESSIONNAIRE SPACE: • Eastside Community Center - The concessionaire area consists of 500 square feet of space (see Exhibit A – Center Floor Plan) with water supply, sink and drain lines. All other equipment and furnishings (example: cash register, display cases, cold storage, etc.) are the responsibility of the Concessionaire. The aesthetic and design of the concessionaire and any added elements must adhere to the Brand Guide for the Center (see Exhibit E – Eastside Community Center Brand Guide) and blend well with the overall look and feel of the facility and will require approval from Metro Parks Tacoma. Existing logos or brand identity will be permissible as long as they are incorporated into the building in a tasteful way and are approved by Metro Parks Tacoma. • STAR Center – The concessionaire area consists of a 16’x10’ which includes front islands, and use of a storage space (12’x8’x4’) (see Exhibit A – Center Floor Plan). All other equipment and furnishings (example: cash register, display cases, cold storage, etc.) are the responsibility of the Concessionaire. The aesthetic and design of the concessionaire and any added elements must adhere to the Brand Guide for the Center (see Exhibit E – STAR Center Brand Guide) and blend well with the overall look and feel of the facility and will require approval from Metro Parks Tacoma.
