A. General: 1. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services as indicated in accord with provisions of Contract Documents. 2. It is the intent of the Contract Documents to describe a functionally complete project. Furnish and install all supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances, and devices incidental to or necessary for a sound, secure, complete, and functional installation. B. Related Requirements: 1. Include, but are not limited to, the following: a. Section 01 64 00 – Owner-Furnished Products 1.2 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT A. The Work of this Contract under the Base Bid generally includes, but is not limited to the following: Base Bid: a. Site work including erosion control, clearing, grubbing, excavation and haul, grading, backfill and compaction, and stormwater appurtenances. b. Installation of temporary bypass piping and site dewatering. c. Construction of new pump station facility and pump station building (including HVAC and owner-furnished Electrical equipment). d. Installation of owner-furnished submersible pumps and appurtenances, e. Installation of trash rack with fish screen f. Installation of sheet pile walls. g. Installation of support bearing piles and caps. h. Installation of yard piping, meter, and yard hydrant. i. Installation of controls, panels, site wiring, and electrical systems. j. Construction of site security fencing and access gates. k. Removal of existing sheet pile walls. B. Domestic preferences for procurements: 1. As appropriate and to the extent consistent with law, the non-Federal entity should, to the greatest extent practicable under a Federal award, provide a preference for the purchase, acquisition, or use of goods, products, or materials produced in the United States (including but not limited to iron, aluminum, steel, cement, and other manufactured products). a. Produced in the United States” means, for iron and steel products, that all manufacturing processes, from the initial melting stage through the application of coatings, occurred in the United States. b. Manufactured products” means items and construction materials composed in whole or in part of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum; plastics and polymer-based products such as polyvinyl chloride pipe; aggregates such as concrete; glass, including optical fiber; and lumber
