ANSI/EIA 359-A, TIA 598-D, IEC 60304 Optical Fiber Cable Color Coding 1.3 The fiber cable shall be constructed as follows: a) 144 fibers in the completed cable with an outside diameter of 0.906 inches, b) Approximate cable weight of 0.285 lbs/ft, c) Maximum rated cable load(MRCL) 19,009lbs, d) Approximate cable breaking strength 30,399 lbs, e) Minimum bending radius 14 in static and 19 in dynamic. 1.4 The cable provided shall be designed for aerial installations on proposed 230 kV steel pole transmission structures with maximum span lengths of up to 2,300 feet in the electrical space. 1.5 This cable will be installed in the electrical zone. A Track Resistant jacket will be required for this cable with a minimum rating of 25kV.
