Amendment 1 (4/11/23)- The purpose of this amendment is to remove option years 3 & 4 limiting the contract to 3 years IAW FAR 16.602.
The new contract period will be a base period with two option years IAW attached combined synopsis/solicitation with CLINS 4.0, 4.1, 5.0 and 5.1 removed.
The purpose of this contract is to provide lookout services to detect and report smokes or fires within and adjacent to the Umatilla National Forest National Forest. The lookouts shall be required to maintain a daily log of events and provide a written summary of events at the end of each contract year. Work shall include monitoring radio traffic, relaying radio messages, plotting fire start locations, providing fire behavior reports, report state of the weather and take weather readings when requested.
