Description: The County is offering for surplus sale a maximum quantity of 1,000 cubic yards of bank run gravel, to be extracted from a designated area within a County-owned parcel on Waldron Island (TPN 371324003000). “Bank run gravel” is defined as naturally occurring, sandy gravel deposits sourced from the Waldron Island Gravel Pit. Bank run gravel is an unprocessed and unscreened product and is measured by the cubic yard, in the position it occupied before the excavation was made. The County is offering this surplus property by public sale via a sealed bid solicitation. The purchaser awarded the contract for sale of the surplus gravel will enter an agreement to lease an area of approximately 1.0 acres of the County owned property, for the sole purpose of extraction of surplus bank run gravel from the Waldron Island gravel pit.
