Specifications include, but are not limited to: BFT is interested in soliciting proposals from qualified providers of ERP software for transit organizations whose product offering meets or exceeds current BFT requirements and whose complete product offering provides a robust solution set that will allow BFT to continue to leverage this investment well into the future as the needs of the organization grow and evolve. The purpose of this procurement effort is: • Select the best Software as a Service (SaaS) ERP software solution that BFT will use to perform business transformation across the Finance, Grants/Projects, Procurement, Human Resources, and Payroll business areas. BFT intends to implement Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in a later phase and will evaluate EAM capability and integrations during this evaluation. • Select a software solution for long-term investment that: o Demonstrates commitment to incorporating technology advancements and passing those improvements to BFT o Improves BFT project delivery through a connected platform o Allows for easy adoption of advancements in functionality and technology as required by BFT o Enables, does not restrict, continuous improvements in business and administration business practices • Select a qualified and experienced vendor that will: o Guide and support BFT through the adoption of best practices o Commit to supporting BFT in designing effective business processes supporting the core functions of the business o Act as a partner, recognizing the business of BFT may experience changes, and bring a willingness to collectively address project impacts • Complete the design, configuration, testing and deployment of the software, while proactively addressing risk through strong project management and communication
