Specifications include, but are not limited to: Western Washington University wishes to implement a comprehensive electronic door access software management system that allows for phased integration of electronic access control and electronic monitoring of doors throughout the campus. A scalable centrally managed system is required, offering reporting and auditing features and security protocols on all levels. Also, a distributed and layered management system is required. This system must provide the ability to interface with Westerns Banner ERP system and other systems. The system must offer an integrated CCTV option that can be added at any point of system development. The initial project may include: application software server & OS (if standard, Western can provide) building access field equipment (ex. control panel) after system selection, proposals for potentially converting some existing buildings or a small pilot area which have electronic access control systems now (ex. keypad and proximity)
