The Vendor shall fabricate a purpose-built, aluminum, research electrofishing boat, propeller outboard driven, 18-19’ hull with engineered ca. 24” transom extension motor bracket. The design needs to be built expressly for fast flowing, white water rivers with a deep-V hull and full height transom with 80’minimum beam and minimum 30-inch sides. The ca. 24” transom extension motor bracket is a safety requirement, adding legitimate flotation and allowing for applying force in reverse without the threat of taking on water over the transom while navigating swift moving water due to a full height transom. The boat should have the ability to be trailered and should include a trailer for that purpose designed or modified to maximize ability to launch in low water conditions as experienced within project boundaries while still allowing for safe highway towing.
