Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this RFP, the Pierce County E911 Program Office is seeking a qualified vendor that can provide the following: Written or verbal recommendations to the E911 Program Office on national and state 911 and industry cyber security standards and best practices for design, implementation and operational procedures related to the ESInet and PSAP E911 equipment. Review the technical and operational security elements of service provider proposals for E911 networks, equipment, and services to ensure that they meet security standards and best practices, including the review of documentation of the configuration of network security systems, security control policies and operating policies. Attend in-person meetings and conference calls related to the design, development and installation of the E911 security network for three (3) PSAPs. Discuss and recommend solutions to cyber security issues with service providers as requested by the E911 Program Office.
