The consultant will be responsible for completing the following tasks to produce the required deliverables for the Olympia Downtown Commercial Vacancy Study:1.Project Initiation and Work Plana. Participate in a kickoff meeting with City staff to confirm project goals, roles, communication protocols, and expectations. b. Refine the proposed methodology and submit a detailed work plan, including a timeline, engagement approach, and data needs.2.Commercial Property Inventory and Vacancy Mappinga. Compile a comprehensive inventory of commercial properties within the defined downtown study area.b. Document property attributes such as location, use type, building size, age, condition, current occupancy status, and estimated vacancy duration. c. Produce maps and associated databases identifying and spatially displaying vacant properties.3.Stakeholder Engagement a. Develop and implement an engagement plan to gather insights from key stake holder groups including: i. Property owners ii. Commercial brokers and leasing agents
