The Cowlitz County PFD (CCPFD) is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQs) from firms interested in providing Design-Build (DB) services related to the design and construction of the Cowlitz County Event Center (CCEC) Improvements Ph. 1 & 2 project (Project). The alternative public works contracting procedure authorized in RCW 39.10.300 through 39.10.330 will be utilized for this Project. This Project will utilize the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) delivery method. Firms with previous Progressive Design-Build experience or experience using a similar alternative construction delivery format are encouraged to apply. This project will have two phases of design and construction that will take place on the existing CCEC site in Longview, WA. Phase 1 will generally include the design and construction of renovations, upgrades and expansion of the existing Regional Conference Center facility. Phase 2 will generally include design and construction of a new Multi-purpose Facility of approximately 40,000sf.
