Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Economic Services Administration, Division of Child Support (DCS) has received federal grant funds for the purpose of administering an Access and Visitation Services program for the State of Washington. DCS will be funding local projects that are similar to the type of allowable services outlined in 42 USC 669b: Mediation, development of parenting plans, education, counseling, visitation enforcement and development of guidelines for visitation and alternative custody arrangements. Allowable services can be provided by courts, state/local public agencies, and non-profit entities such as community and faith based organizations. It is anticipated that approximately six (6) contracts will be issued derived from this RFP.
