Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Washington Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board (Workforce Board) is seeking the services of an experienced education and/or workforce professional to provide solid one-on-one assistance to staff at schools, colleges and universities entering credential information. The successful candidate will need to be savvy about the state’s education system—from secondary to postsecondary. The contractor will need to understand credentialing pathways, and optimally, be aware of national efforts on credential transparency. While there are technical components to this work, Credential Engine’s technical team is available to provide training and support as needed. As part of this outreach and support, we plan on establishing a Help Desk, so schools can get hands-on help and guidance on this technology. The contractor will need to become proficient in accessing program details from Career Bridge and staffing this Help Desk to support schools at a number of technical levels, from walking credential providers through the value of the Credential Registry to helping them make a decision about the appropriate publishing level and workflow. The Workforce Board also intends to collaborate with the contractor on developing training and support modules as a ready-made resource to help other education programs and agencies effectively roll out the use of the CTDL and publishing tools to their customers.
